Is it just me, or does anybody else play little games while out shopping?  At TJ Maxx and Marshalls, two of my favourite stores, I like to guess an item’s price before looking at the tag.  I’ve gotten pretty good, even with subtle differences ($9.99 and 12.99, or $16.99 and $19.99, for example).  This shirt is one that eluded me; I thought for sure it was at the $16.99 tier… only to be pleasantly surprised to find it listed at $9.99!

The worst is when the opposite happens.  You pick up a sheer cotton shirt and think, $9.99 MAX, only to turn over the tag and see a whopping $24.99 listed.  What gives?!  Look at the other tag.  If it says C&C California, Ella Moss, or Sweetees, that’s why.  ::Eyeroll::

P.S. Feliz Cinco de Mayo!  I’m relying on my colourful shoes to bring the festive, even though they’re Italian not Mexican.

– Silver knuckle ring
– Tiffany Madonna necklace
– Turquoise van Cleef earrings
