I might have a lot to say about lotions and potions and accessorizing to the nines, but when it comes down to it I’m an au naturale girl at heart.  That’s why this little swap-out sheet was really interesting to me.  I’ve always tried home remedies, with mixed consequences (coffee as a body scrub?  Check.  Cinnamon face wash?  Not so much.)  Lately I have been experimenting with the properties of rice, like some sort of hippie chemist.  As the legend goes, a representative from a major beauty brand met women who’d worked all their lives in a rice field.  Their faces were tattered and leathery from being exposed to the sun day after day, but their hands were as youthful as dew.  Turns out the proteins found in rice grains worked marvels in keeping their skin ageless.  Fountain of youth?  Nah, just leftover Chinese.
